This website

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking and loads no third-party resources: fonts and images are served from our own server in Germany. When you open a page, our web server briefly logs technical data (IP address, time, requested page, browser) to keep the service secure. These logs are deleted after [14] days. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The beta and contact buttons open your own email app. We only receive what you send us, use it to answer or to send your beta invite, and delete it when it is no longer needed.

The game: what we process

  • Account: a random device identifier, your chosen display name and avatar. No email address or real name is required.
  • Game progress: heroes, gear, battles, quests, Arena results and similar gameplay records, needed to provide the game (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Location: while you play, the app sends your position to our server to build the map around you. The server keeps only your last known position and its time, overwritten on each update, so that the area around active players stays populated. No location history is kept, other players never see your position, and it is not used for advertising.
  • Map images: map tiles are loaded from OpenFreeMap. Like any map service, it receives your IP address and the map area being displayed.
  • Gameplay telemetry: gameplay events linked to your account (for example a completed tutorial step), used only to understand where players get stuck and to balance the game.

Game data is stored on our own server in Germany. Deleting your account in the app (Settings → Delete account) permanently removes your account and progress.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Write to support@crossroadslegends.com.
